Online Booking
We recommend booking online through our trusted TicketSource™ system which is a fast and easy way of purchasing tickets for upcoming shows. Online booking for some events may not be available until nearer the time. To see exactly which shows can be booked online, click here.
Payment for Tickets
Tickets can be paid for using cash, cheque (made payable to Blackfriars Arts Centre Ltd.) Visa, Mastercard or Switch. Please note a booking fee of £1 (inc.VAT) will be charged per transaction by Box Office from 1st September 2018. To book tickets in person please call into the Box Office between the hours of 10am and 1pm Monday to Friday and 10am - 2pm on Saturday.

Postal Booking
Please give full details of the time and date of the performance. Enclose a cheque or postal order made payable to Blackfriars Arts Centre Ltd. and a stamped addressed envelope.
Concessions
Reduced price tickets are available for some performances check the show for details. Family Tickets where offered include 2 Adult and 2 Child seats unless otherwise stated.
Email
You can email box office 
with details of the performance you wish to attend, the number of tickets you need and your telephone number. Someone from box office will then call you to book your tickets. Please note that we do not take reservations and your tickets will not be booked until you speak directly to a member of the box office staff.
Disablity Access
Blackfriars is pleased to announce that we have recently improved the accessibility of the auditorium for disabled access. Previously we provided for 2 wheelchairs with access being via a manual stair climber. We have now installed a new platform lift and improved the seating in the auditorium. This means we can now accommodate up to 6 wheelchair users per performance, and also assist those with walking/stair issues into the auditorium by a fixed platform lift. The number of spaces can vary depending on the requirements of the production in at any point in time, meaning for some performances we may have fewer than 6 wheelchair spaces available. These seats are permanently reserved and need to be booked direct through our Box Office - please notify the Box Office when booking that a wheelchair space is required. NB. If wheelchair access is required, then a minimum notice of half-an-hour before the start of a performance must be given. If you do not mention when booking that you require wheelchair access we cannot guarantee you a place. Please note we can only accommodate standard wheelchairs. The customer may transfer to our in-house wheelchair if this is possible. Blackfriars' auditorium is fitted with an induction loop. Disabled parking spaces are situated 70 metres away at the top of South Street. There is a drop off point at the main doors, access via Quaker Lane.
Refunds
We are unable to refund money on returned tickets. If an event is sold out we will try to sell unwanted tickets. Tickets may be exchanged for another performance of the same production providing the tickets are returned to the theatre at least two working days before the performance they are valid for (subject to availability). A fee of £1 per ticket will be charged.
Refurbishment Charge
A 'refurbishment' levy of 50p will be added to each ticket sold online, over the phone or in person, whether paying by cash, cheque or credit/debit card. Prices that are displayed on this website exclude this fee.
Blackfriars Theatre is run predominately by volunteers, we don't charge an admin fee and don't intend to. The full levy amount plus gift aid, if applicable, will create a special fund to help maintain and refurbish the towns precious traditional little Theatre. This fund will also allow us to seek 'match funding' opportunities to enhance your theatre experience.
